Possibilities are: foot pressure adjustment tension dial modification stitch elongation lf you can already determine the stress adjustment switch and this gadget is usually above the pressure foot, after that I would gess it can be the initial one, foot pressure adjustment. Many models wear't have this but it has been standard for several years on all machines, allowing you to manage the pressure of the feet onto the needle plate, something you require to differ if you are sewing extremely heavy coatings or extremely good silks, occasionally you simply need to finesse the stress yourself.
