I have installed the driver that Windows Update suggests and the hardware appears to accept it ok. Unforetunately W7 then stalls when I try to shutdown and I have to then power off. So I have to System restore to correct things. I have downloaded the Vista driver from Silicon Immage but it doesn't download as an exe file so i can't carry out the Compatability route that you suggest.

I was hoping to contact Silicon Image direct but they always direct you to a supplier. So no real progress at the moment but i shall persevere. I would like to get it working as i have hardware plugged into the controller which won't work at the moment. Any other suggestions?
